Description

Description Skin relatively smooth, limbs long and slender, feet with expanded flattened tips to digits. Brown or beige above with dark brown transverse blotches over back and top of head. Distinct white spot on upper lip under eye. Underside of thigh with small bluish spots. Tadpoles (to 2.5 cm) are slender, black, with downward-facing mouth.

Ecology, Habitat & Location

Ecological Notes Nocturnal and arboreal. Lives in vegetation along streams in mature forest, and feeds on small invertebrates.

Distribution Known only from one locality in the Central Catchment Nature Reserve. Distributed in the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra and Borneo.
