Description

Description Body slender, snout blunt, hind limbs relatively short and slender. Skin moderately warty, greyish-brown with scattered red spots, and a pale brown, dark edged X-shaped marking over back. No raised gland along side of head, no ridges on top of head. Tips of fingers and toes distinctly squarish in shape.

Ecological Notes Inhabits primary forest where it has been found among leaf-litter on the forest floor, and at the bases of large trees.

Distribution Known only from a single location in the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. The species is also known from the Malay Peninsula.
